Job Description

Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
Take and develop dental radiographs.
Provide pre and post-operative instructions to patients.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Perform chairside assisting duties efficiently and effectively.
Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed.
Contribute to a positive and efficient office flow.
Support front office duties as required.

Salary Range

Full-time $20 - $25 per hour

Requirements
  • General Dentistry
  • X-ray / Radiography Certification

Possession of a valid Dental Assistant certification.
Radiograph certification.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attendance and punctuality.
A friendly and professional demeanor.

Preferences

Experience with the Open Dental software system.
Experience or interest in making whitening and retention trays.
Prior experience in a general dentistry practice.
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification.
