Copper Mountain Resort is a vacation destination located 75 miles west of Denver, Colorado in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Three vibrant, pedestrian-friendly village areas host lodging, retail outlets, restaurants, bars, and family activities. During the winter months, Copper's world-class terrain offers skiing and riding for all ages and abilities. Each summer, the mountain transforms into a playground for hikers, mountain bikers, and anyone seeking a genuine Colorado experience. Copper Mountain Resort is also home to Woodward Copper action-sports camps, programs, and training facility.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $2,222.46 to $2,330.77+ biweekly amount, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience. May be eligible for a discretionary bonus annually.
  • Benefits: This position is eligible to enroll in company subsidized medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, HSA, life/disability options; season pass for employees/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available.

Job Summary:
  • Are you a dog lover and cannot get enough of the outdoors? Downhill Duke's is Copper's only Full-service outdoor restaurant.
  • A professional requiring only general direction to achieve desired results, this position will be 40+ hours each week.
  • Works with Group manager with management of the Restaurant.
  • Completes all operations of the facility.Be the right hand for management.
  • Completes all training, leading, cash handling, scheduling...etc.
  • Supervises daily operation of the operation.
  • Maintains and administers any necessary systems or policies.
  • Completes any review and completing the analyzing all budget components including - P&L's, month end, reforecasting, accuracy...etc.
  • Completes other tasks as directed by the Group Manager- Whether some bill pay, some labor analysis or reporting tools.
  • Understands the importance of: organization, time management, cleanliness and punctuality in regards to paperwork, meetings, deadlines and returning phone calls.
  • Supports company goals and philosophies.
  • Demonstrated ability to receive direction and act upon it.
  • Adheres and enforces Copper's Policies.
  • Has guest service as a focus.
  • Has a minimum of 2-3 years of Management experience.
  • Background in accounting or a finance aspect an asset.
  • Possesses technical ability and knowledge to give direction to staff and act on it.
  • Works in united direction with Senior management, Manager, culinary and service staff in regards to COS controls, systems controls, business analysis, reporting, and reforecasting.
  • Has an ongoing vision for the Division.
  • Adheres to the budget.
  • Has positive outlook.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Will complete training programs within 90 days of employment.

Performs management duties re:
  • Paper work; HCM, Payroll, Separation notices, Employee reviews, Employee consultations, disciplinary action, workers comp form, first injury reports, culinary guidelines and uniform paperwork.
  • Financial: Forecasting, Scheduling, use of labor tool.Costing schedule, Variance reports and Cost transfers. COS management.
  • Day to day operations.
  • Training staff as needed
  • Timely in regards to meetings, reports and deadlines.
  • Sets example
  • Leads management team with any planning regarding financial planning, menu development, cost control and positioning of restaurant.
  • Administration Duties:Scheduling, reforecasting, inventory, conflict resolutions, PA's, 1:1's, Attends culinary meetings, budget development
  • Completes any inventories as director by Director.
  • Assists with overall restroom cleanliness and duties when needed

  • Must own non-slip shoes
