Job description

Kernodle Clinic in Mebane, NC, has an opportunity for a full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist (BE/BC) to join its four-physician department. Position available in Fall of 2026. Kernodle Clinic Cardiology has a full staff of cardiologists to help serve and provide care for heart conditions. Kernodle's cardiology division is prepared to handle heart disease, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular and congenital heart disease, peripheral vascular medicine, hypertension, cholesterol disorders, heart rhythm disorders (atrial fibrillation, heart block, pacemaker services), preventative cardiac care and interventional services (coronary stenting, acute heart attack treatment).

Kernodle Cardiology:

  • 4 full-time cardiologists and 3 APPs
  • 1:4 call (Interventionalists provide Invasive and STEMI service at ARMC)
  • See around 15-25 patients per day
  • Clinic hours M-F, 8am-5pm
  • Employed opportunity with robust Duke benefits package, signing bonus, and relocation

Kernodle Clinic is a 55-physician, 40-APP multi-specialty clinical affiliate of Duke Health. It is Duke Health's largest community-based practice with 15 specialties across three locations. The main clinic is in Burlington, a growing community 30 miles from Chapel Hill, Durham, and Greensboro. Home to Elon University, three hours from the coast and two hours from the mountains, Burlington is ideally located for work, home, and play.
