Job description:
Daffy Ducts is seeking a skilled Lead HVAC Installer to join our dynamic team as we take our company to new heights. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning ducts and IAQ Equipment with the ability to hire their own helper. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Lead HVAC Installer will work closely with clients to ensure their systems are functioning efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Install HVAC system ducts in residential and commercial settings according to specifications and local codes.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot issues with heating, cooling, and refrigeration units using diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to understand system designs.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete installations in a timely manner while ensuring high-quality workmanship.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns regarding their HVAC systems.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
  • Drive company vehicles to job sites as required, adhering to all safety regulations.

Requirements

    • Proven experience in HVAC installation or a related field is preferred.
    • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various tools and equipment related to HVAC systems.
