What You'll Do

As a Quality Technician, you'll support quality assurance activities throughout the manufacturing process while working closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform source inspections using customer specifications, engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality documentation.
  • Review product documentation to ensure compliance with customer requirements prior to product release (DSQR/Product Release activities).
  • Maintain quality records through document control, including scanning, filing, and record retention.
  • Update work instructions, routers, quality documents, and manufacturing paperwork.
  • Support the administration of the Certified Operator/Inspector Program, including employee training, testing, auditing, and documentation.
  • Conduct quality audits of parts being manufactured and verify compliance with internal procedures and customer requirements.
  • Collect, review, and maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) data to support process improvement.
  • Assist with Material Review Board (MRB) documentation, corrective actions, supplier returns, and quality reporting.
  • Verify inspection reports and quality documentation for completeness and accuracy.
  • Support internal special processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform internal process audits and help ensure compliance with our Quality Management System.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to resolve quality concerns while maintaining positive working relationships.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Technical, manufacturing, or quality-related education is a plus.

Preferred Experience

  • Associates degree in a technical field. 
  • Quality experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace.
  • Experience with document control and quality record management.
  • Familiarity with customer specifications, engineering drawings, and inspection requirements.
  • Experience working with ISO9001 and/or AS9100 QMS standards
  • Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • Knowledge of DSQR (Designated Quality Representative/Product Release) processes is preferred.
  • Experience performing internal quality audits.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, and organizing data.
  • Strong computer and documentation skills.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
