What You'll Do
As a Quality Technician, you'll support quality assurance activities throughout the manufacturing process while working closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform source inspections using customer specifications, engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality documentation.
- Review product documentation to ensure compliance with customer requirements prior to product release (DSQR/Product Release activities).
- Maintain quality records through document control, including scanning, filing, and record retention.
- Update work instructions, routers, quality documents, and manufacturing paperwork.
- Support the administration of the Certified Operator/Inspector Program, including employee training, testing, auditing, and documentation.
- Conduct quality audits of parts being manufactured and verify compliance with internal procedures and customer requirements.
- Collect, review, and maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) data to support process improvement.
- Assist with Material Review Board (MRB) documentation, corrective actions, supplier returns, and quality reporting.
- Verify inspection reports and quality documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Support internal special processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform internal process audits and help ensure compliance with our Quality Management System.
- Collaborate with multiple departments to resolve quality concerns while maintaining positive working relationships.

Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Technical, manufacturing, or quality-related education is a plus.
Preferred Experience
- Associates degree in a technical field.
- Quality experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace.
- Experience with document control and quality record management.
- Familiarity with customer specifications, engineering drawings, and inspection requirements.
- Experience working with ISO9001 and/or AS9100 QMS standards
- Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Knowledge of DSQR (Designated Quality Representative/Product Release) processes is preferred.
- Experience performing internal quality audits.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, and organizing data.
- Strong computer and documentation skills.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
