Job Description

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

At Rapid DSP, we expect our delivery drivers to be punctual, courteous, honest, and hardworking. Our team operates seven (7) days a week from 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM, or until every package has been successfully delivered. We operate in all weather conditions and across a variety of locations.

As a successful Rapid DSP Delivery Driver, you must:

- Be comfortable using handheld technology and following GPS-coordinated routes.

- Be confident driving a large vehicle.

- Strictly obey all traffic laws while maintaining a steady, consistent pace.

- Carefully follow all customer delivery instructions for every package.

Most importantly, we take pride in completing our work with a positive attitude.

Qualifications

Delivery Driver Qualifications:

  • DELIVERY DRIVERS MUST LIVE WITHIN COMMUTING DISTANCE OF MANSFIELD, TX!
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must hold a valid, unrestricted, drivers' license
  • Must have reliable transportation 
  • Must be on time and maintain reliable attendance
  • Must pass a standard background check and have a clean Motor Vehicle Record
  • Must pass a 4 panel drug screen
  • Ability to work 4 days a week, for at least 10 hours per day, one weekend day is required
  • Ability to safely drive a large vehicle, no CDL required
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with members of the public, coworkers, managers and warehouse employees
  • Ability to use electronic devices for route navigation and planning
  • Ability to drive and deliver in all types of weather, in a variety of locations  
  • Ability to walk, lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, twist, and/or stretch during shifts up to 11 hours with packages weighing up to 50 pounds
