Summary Statement

The incumbent provides\r\nadministrative, analytical, and operational support by coordinating office\r\nprocesses, reviewing documentation for accuracy and completeness, conducting\r\nresearch, maintaining records and reports, preparing correspondence, and assisting\r\nwith the development and maintenance of procedures, forms, and resource\r\nmaterials. The position supports projects and organizational initiatives\r\nthrough data tracking, process coordination, records management, and effective\r\ncommunication while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely completion\r\nof assignments in a collaborative, customer-focused environment.\r\n

Essential Functions

Resolves discrepancies, deficiencies in information, or other issues.\r\n \r\n Drafts, manages, and distributes communications and other materials for public and/or internal use.\r\n \r\n Coordinates administrative elements of projects including tracking timelines, scheduling, documenting progress, and facilitating communication between team members.\r\n \r\n Uses automated information systems and computer software to enter, update, modify, delete, retrieve, and report on data.\r\n \r\n Orders and maintains office supplies and equipment.\r\n \r\n Plans and coordinates meetings, hearings, or conferences and makes travel arrangements.\r\n \r\n May approve or recommend approval/denial of requests/information within established standards and guidelines.\r\n \r\n Performs other related duties as required.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS for Senior Administrative Specialist\r\nApplicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n One year of experience in performing administrative specialist work such as composing official documents, drafting and distributing communications or other materials, tracking and resolving issues with workflow, assisting with research, special projects or data/information management, or other similar work in support of administrative, technical, program, and/or office operations.\r\n One year of experience in using standard computer software/applications to create documents, develop spreadsheets, or maintain/update databases.\r\n One year of experience in collecting, compiling, and evaluating data from multiple sources to prepare reports, letters, or other administrative documents.\r\n Six months' experience in providing guidance and consultation to management, customers, and others on administrative matters.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
