Fitzpatrick Painting & Construction is seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated Drywaller/Drywall Finisher to join our growing team. Work Location: Projects are primarily located throughout the Portland Metro area, with future opportunities on projects in the Salem area. Must be willing and able to travel to assigned job sites.

What You’ll Do

  • Hang, tape, mud, texture, and finish drywall to a high standard.
  • Complete drywall repairs ranging from small patches to large remodels.
  • Match existing textures and prepare surfaces for painting.
  • Assist with residential and commercial painting projects when drywall work is limited, ensuring full-time, year-round work.
  • Work alongside painters, carpenters, and project managers to keep projects on schedule.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
  • Follow company quality standards and safety procedures.
  • Qualifications
  • 3+ years of drywall installation and finishing experience preferred.
  • Painting experience is a plus and a willingness to assist with painting projects is required.
  • Ability to perform smooth finishes and texture matching.
  • Experience in residential and commercial projects is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on ladders and scaffolding.
