Job description

A. Ensure all mechanical/electrical equipment supporting the facility is maintained and functioning properly and make necessary repairs and/or perform maintenance where appropriate or consult for outside vendor support.
B. Responsible for agency Fleet maintenance, vehicle care and reporting of any operational issues regarding them to the Facilities Operations Manager.
C. Keep agency vehicles registration, insurance cards, and safety inspections up to date and stocked with appropriate vehicle safety equipment.
D. Performs carpentry maintenance tasks including routine sheetrock/drywall installation and/or repair, window replacement, cabinet and countertop replacement, painting and texturing, and door and hardware installation, paints interior and exterior finishes, as appropriate.
E. Perform regularly scheduled maintenance on all facilities and tooling machines, including support equipment.
F. Work in conjunction with the management team to ensure a consistent level of maintenance in all facilities according to organizational regulations.
G. Check primary buildings daily as assigned, and inspect facilities for carpet stains, marks on walls that need touch-up, damaged or stained ceiling tiles, bent or broken window blinds,
H. Complete Work Orders via the electronic system in a timely manner noting completion and other comments when necessary.
I. Provide Facilities Operations Manager with all invoices/receipts for maintenance related charges (vehicle repairs, gas, cleaning supplies, etc.) in a timely manner.
J. Develop and maintain a spare parts inventory of basic maintenance hand and power tools.
K. Job assignments may be added, deleted, or modified to ensure overall facility services are provided.
