What We're Searching For
Cornerstone is seeking an experienced Drywall Spray Technician to join our team. This position plays a critical role in producing consistent, high-quality textured drywall finishes for residential construction projects. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, works efficiently, and is committed to delivering exceptional results while maintaining a safe and organized jobsite.
What You'll Do
  • Apply drywall textures and finishes according to project specifications and company quality standards.
  • Set up, operate, clean, and maintain texture spray equipment to ensure consistent application and minimize downtime.
  • Match existing textures, including knockdown and orange peel finishes, when required.
  • Inspect completed work for quality and consistency, making corrections as needed before paint or customer inspection.
  • Protect surrounding surfaces, maintain a clean jobsite, and follow all company safety procedures.
  • Work efficiently with the crew to meet production schedules while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

What You Need
  • Previous experience operating drywall texture spray equipment is required.
  • Proven experience applying knockdown and orange peel finishes.
  • Ability to produce consistent, high-quality textured finishes that meet company standards.
  • Experience with Level 5 smooth finishes is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced construction environment.
