At NXT Property Management, we're growing-and we're looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician who is ready to grow with us.

This isn't just another maintenance position. It's an opportunity for someone who wants to develop into a Maintenance Supervisor while gaining valuable experience overseeing multiple apartment communities. You'll provide support at Oquirrh Hills while taking primary responsibility for the maintenance operations at Valo on Vine and Ledger Cove, working alongside experienced leaders who are invested in your professional development.

What You'll Do

As our Floating Maintenance Technician, you'll help ensure three communities remain safe, attractive, and well-maintained by:

  • Performing apartment turns to prepare homes for new residents
  • Completing maintenance service requests efficiently and professionally
  • Troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, flooring, and carpentry issues
  • Conducting preventative maintenance throughout the communities
  • Maintaining community grounds, amenities, and curb appeal
  • Coordinating vendors and assisting with larger maintenance projects as needed
  • Supporting maintenance operations at Oquirrh Hills while independently managing the day-to-day maintenance needs of Valo on Vine and Ledger Cove
  • Building positive relationships with residents through outstanding customer service
  • Participating in an on-call rotation as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Previous apartment maintenance or property maintenance experience required
  • Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, and general maintenance
  • EPA Certification is preferred but not required
  • Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple responsibilities
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical demands of maintenance work
