About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on, reliable Maintenance Supervisor to support multiple apartment communities and ensure our properties are safe, well-maintained, and operating at a high standard.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem-solving, and can balance day-to-day maintenance needs with larger projects. You'll lead a small team, support property operations, and help create a positive living experience for our residents.
What You'll Do
  • Oversee maintenance operations across multiple apartment communities
  • Lead, train, and support maintenance technicians
  • Perform and coordinate general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and repairs
  • Manage unit turns, ensuring apartments are move-in ready and meet company standards
  • Participate in and respond to on-call and after-hours maintenance emergencies
  • Conduct routine property inspections and identify preventative maintenance needs
  • Assist with planning and executing capital improvement projects
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of work orders and maintenance activity (Yardi experience preferred)
  • Communicate effectively with property managers, residents, and vendors

What We're Looking For
  • Experience in apartment maintenance, ideally across multiple properties
  • Strong working knowledge of general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, etc.)
  • Experience with unit turns and renovations
  • Familiarity with Yardi or similar property management systems preferred
  • Understanding of Fair Housing laws and regulations
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and guide a team
  • Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Self-starter who can work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs or ladders for extended periods
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions

Schedule
  • Full-time role during standard business hours
  • Participation in on-call rotation and availability for after-hours emergencies required
