Job description

Position:  Driver/Handyman Location:  Head Office in Mississauga (Hurontario / 401 area) Salary Range: $21/hr - $23/hr Vacancy Status: This position is for an existing vacancy.   Qualifications: * Must have a vehicle (required to use company vehicle during working hours) * Valid Driver’s License, clean driving record and police check * Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing) * Ability to use computers and working knowledge of Microsoft Office   Responsibilities * Handy person work – e.g. change light bulbs, small repairs where necessary, such as drywall patching, light painting, clearing garbage/boxes * Ladder use at times – must be comfortable with heights * Refrigerator clean-outs * Staff BBQ events, picking up supplies & cooking on the BBQ * Pickup and drop off samples to labs and proposals/mail to clients – Deliveries of all sorts * Driver (staff to airport, meetings, etc.) * Pick up and drop off equipment to and from sites, rental places and repair shops * Company fleet vehicles (approx. 8) – regular inspection of mileage, gas, interior conditions (cleaning and vacuuming), maintenance scheduling.  Must take vehicles for service and keep track of maintenance needs * Equipment maintenance and keep equipment rooms tidy and in order * Help to pick up office supplies – food/cleaning supplies etc. from suppliers and shops * Help with transportation and setup of events * Assist the consultants during field work to hold and support ladders, operate lifting devices, help with traffic control, etc. (when needed)   Only those applicants selected for interviews will be contacted. Resumes may be sent to: info@ oheconsultants.com
