We are seeking a skilled, dependable, and service-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team and play a key role in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and well-cared-for living environment for our residents.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Maintenance Technician, you'll help ensure the community remains in excellent condition by performing maintenance repairs, preventative maintenance, and supporting the overall appearance and functionality of the property. Key responsibilities include:

• Completing service requests and maintenance work orders in a timely, professional, and courteous manner
• Diagnosing and repairing issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, drywall, painting, and other building systems
• Performing preventative maintenance on community equipment, buildings, and common areas
• Preparing vacant apartment homes for new residents by completing make-ready and turn processes
• Conducting routine inspections of buildings, grounds, amenities, and equipment to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns
• Assisting with emergency maintenance situations and participating in an on-call rotation as required
• Maintaining community curb appeal through regular upkeep of grounds, common areas, and property amenities
• Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations
• Maintaining accurate records of completed work orders, inspections, inventory, and maintenance activities
• Communicating effectively with residents, vendors, and team members to provide exceptional customer service
• Assisting with inventory management and maintaining appropriate levels of maintenance supplies and equipment
• Supporting community improvement projects and capital improvement initiatives as needed
• Promoting a positive, safe, and welcoming community environment
• Performing other duties as assigned

Who You Are

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and is committed to delivering outstanding service. The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, building maintenance, or related experience preferred
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general maintenance practices
• HVAC certification preferred; additional industry certifications are a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
• High school diploma or GED required
• Basic computer and mobile technology skills for work order management systems and communication platforms
• Experience with Yardi, ResMan, On-Site, or other property management software preferred
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials as required by the position
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
• Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation required
