Job Summary:

A Drywaller/Finisher plays a crucial role in the repair process of a job. They will assist with restoring damaged structures to their former glory and focus on repairing and finishing drywall surfaces to create a smooth and visually appealing finish. Your enthusiasm, passion for craftsmanship, and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our projects and achieving client satisfaction. Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently measure, cut, and install drywall in damaged areas.
  • Proficient in installing drywall along with applying joint compound and able to achieve level 5 finishes.
  • Ability to insulate, apply a vapor barrier, drywall, sand, prime/paint affected areas to present an outstanding finished product
  • Texturing skills (new texture and/or blend repairs) and proficient in installing, sanding, priming, and painting ceilings, walls, and casings/baseboards.
  • Coordinate with internal/external team members to ensure proper completion of projects.
  • Advise on material choices and project requirements.
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Deliver professional customer service to all stakeholders.
  • Strong people and communication skills with the ability to communicate job progress to all stakeholders verbally or through internal communications in English.

Compensation

  • Wage: $27.00 - $37.00 per hour (based on experience)

Requirements:
  • At least three (3) years of work experience in Drywall/Finishing is preferred.
  • Experience installing a few baseboards/casings on said jobs, and getting ready for painting.
  • Must have a valid Class 5 or novice driver’s license.
  • Possession of a personal van or truck is required for the role (van, minivan or pickup, NO SEDAN or SUV). Generous vehicle allowance accompanied by a gas card.
  • Be able to lift, push, and pull over 50 lbs, and hold over 50 lbs overhead. 
  • Experience in construction/restoration work with own tools and the skills to use them.
