Title: Drupal Developer

Location: Columbus, IN

Duration: 6 to 12 months

Job description:-

Certified on Acquia Certified Developer Core

Basic understanding of Acquia Cloud Site Factory (ACSF) environment is required

Experience in Drupal 7 and Drupal 8 platforms is must

Working knowledge of GIT

Good understanding of the newest Drupal 7 features and modules like multi language variation sites, taxonomy, design packages and building B2B sites

Practical experience with the following languages/applications/frameworks is required : PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, Bootstrap, AJAX, XML, Web-Services

Knowledge of the Drupal backend and Core. Ability to create custom modules

Good understanding of Drupal Forms and Modules (both core and contributed)

SEO knowledge to improve search, through the use of URL path configuration, and configure faceted search and external search engine integrations like Apache SOLR

Strong experience in Drupal Layout and Theming. Ability to create customize layouts and themes. Help to implement best practices for sustainable theming

Ability to implement Drupal core database abstraction layer

Drupal UX Changes and Responsive design

Employ and articulate best practices, security techniques, conventions and coding standards

Employ contexts and variants for a control over display of content depending on context such as page or user role

MySQL and Oracle DB knowledge

Good experience in DB data structure definition

Desired years of experience : 6 to 9 years

Education/ Certifications (Required) : B.E or Btech

Troubleshooting activities for ACSF environment in co-ordination with Acquia and managing deployments - merge code, resolve merge conflicts, deploy code on environments

Best practices review and support process improvements for Drupal CMS
