Job Description
Drive a 57-passenger bus & 35-passenger bus for activities and outings for local and long-distance trips. Must be willing to work evenings and weekends. Other duties include, but are not limited to, assist with general servicing and cleaning of buses; fill fluids, change fuses as needed, keep mileage and hourly records for each trip, complete all paperwork needed, and notify of any maintenance needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Class B Commercial Driver's License with a Passenger Authorization and other necessary endorsements.
  • Minimum of five years driving experience.
  • Excellence in every aspect of service; safety, customer service, and appearance.
  • Driver must have a flexible schedule.
  • Must be familiar with pre/post-check inspections.
  • Possible overnight stays.
  • Familiar with Driver's Daily Logbook/Trip Logbook.
  • Familiar with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Association (FMCSA)
  • Excellent driving record with no suspension or revocation of driving license within last five years Experience using air brakes
  • Must be able to read a map, learn locations, follow routing directions and complete paperwork Must be able to pass a physical agility test, D.O.T. physical, alcohol and drug tests, FBI background checks.
  • Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills and like to work with people of various ages
