The FCQS Associate serves as a Quality Inspector responsible for inspecting customer-owned parts and materials at customer locations or designated First Call Quality facilities. This role ensures all customer inspection requirements are met by following standard operating procedures and customer-specific work instructions while maintaining accuracy, quality, and safety standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Customer Satisfaction & Quality
• Follow all First Call Quality procedures and customer-specific inspection requirements.
• Maintain professional behavior, attendance, communication, and responsiveness at all times.
• Represent the company positively and support operational excellence initiatives.
• Properly tag materials and follow customer inspection processes.
• Follow Team Leader instructions and guidance.
• Assist with maintaining project documentation, including work instruction updates and activity logs.
• Communicate daily inspection material, tool, and equipment needs to the Team Leader.
• Accurately complete project sheets, tally sheets, and inspection records.
• Report any quality issues, abnormalities, or concerns immediately to the Team Leader or Supervisor.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in quality inspection, quality methods, inspection principles, or manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with inspection tools, gauges, and measurement techniques preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, twist, reach, push, pull, and grasp objects throughout the shift.
