Job description

Provides specialized support in the repair and maintenance of pumps.
Essential duties include the following:
  • Champions the company's H.S.E.&T program in all aspects of work performed to provide quality service in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Under general supervision, performs preventive/predictive inspections, maintains, diagnoses, and repairs the discharge/suction assemblies of pumps.
  • Performs basic troubleshooting on some mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Conducts maintenance on triplex pumps, such as inspections, checking for proper lubrication, and repacking of pumps. Also assists the pump crew with tear down and replacement of pumps.
  • Provides assistance to mechanics during rebuilding and repacking of centrifigul pumps.
  • Maintains an accurate inventory of all pump related parts and supplies.
  • This position is required to perform safety sensitive functions as defined in the CES Drug and Alcohol Plan.
