Description

DCOMM, Inc. is growing - The Bury Drop Supervisor at DCOMM oversees underground bury drop operations, ensuring safe, high-quality, and timely job completion. This role provides hands-on leadership to field crews, supports subcontractors, and works closely with operations management to meet company and client requirements, including Spectrum compliance standards.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate field crews and subcontractors
  • Ensure jobs are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards
  • Support Spectrum 2-day compliance requirements and job completion goals
  • Conduct inspections, quality checks, and provide field coaching
  • Enforce safety policies and 811 One Call compliance
  • Assist with damage claims, field issues, and customer concerns
  • Oversee equipment use, materials, and job site resources
  • Assist with reporting, updates, and communication with management

Requirements

  • 21+ years old with valid driver's license and clean record
  • Must pass background check and drug screening
  • Must speak and write English clearly
  • Underground construction experience (trenching, cabling, easements)
  • Knowledge of 811 One Call and utility regulations
  • Ability to operate trenchers, bore machines, and hand tools
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work outdoors in all conditions
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
