Driving School For You (License E0109) is a licensed, student-focused driving school serving the South San Diego area. We are committed to professionalism, safety, and exceptional service — and we bring that same standard to how we treat our instructors.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Pay: $23–$27/hr based on experience and performance
  • Schedule: 20–40 hrs/week, morning and afternoon blocks available
  • Weekends: occasional only, with advance notice
  • Immediate start available for licensed instructors

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Currently Licensed Instructor

You already hold a valid California Driving Instructor License and have behind-the-wheel teaching experience. You may be looking for better pay, a more flexible schedule, or a school that values your expertise. We want to hear from you. Immediate start available.

Working Toward Your CA Instructor License

You are currently in the process of obtaining your California Driving Instructor License through the DMV. You have a clean driving record, relevant experience (education, coaching, transportation, or similar), and want to join a professional school as soon as you are licensed. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver behind-the-wheel instruction to students of all experience levels

  • Operate the school vehicle safely and responsibly at all times

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

✓ Valid California Driving Instructor License OR actively in the CA DMV licensing process

✓ Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for the past 2+ years

✓ Strong communication skills and genuine patience with students

✓ Commitment to safety and responsible driving practices

✓ Authorized to work in the United States
