Job description

We are hiring Bus Drivers in Florence and surrounding counties (Marion, Dillon, Darlington, Chesterfield, Marlboro) in the Pee Dee Region! No CDL? No problem! We offer paid, in-house CDL training.

Pay is up to $18.50/hour based on previous experience level and driving record.

If you have an excellent driving record, great work history, and superior customer service skills, we invite you to apply to become a member of our successful and growing team of professional drivers.

You must pass a basic knowledge and road test, criminal background check, pre-employment physical exam and pre-employment DOT drug test. You must be able to follow schedules and provide quality transportation and customer service. Work hours vary.

PDRTA offers training, uniforms, SC State Retirement and Health benefits, covering 100% of the employee health insurance premium and offering $30K in life insurance. Additional benefits include vision, dental, long-term disability, and optional life insurance. Employees also have access to a free Employee Assistance Program, which includes counseling and life management services. Full-time employees are eligible for holiday pay, annual leave, sick leave, personal days, floating holidays, and community service leave after 90 days.
