Job Duties:
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the production floor, supporting operators, technicians, and supervisors.
  • Translate product designs and engineering changes into manufacturing processes and requirements.
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting for assembly, test, and process issues to minimize downtime.
  • Lead and support root cause analysis (RCA) for defects, failures, and yield issues.
  • Manage non-conforming material through MRB processes (repair, rework, scrap decisions).
  • Design and maintain fixtures, tooling, and test equipment for production.
  • Develop and maintain work instructions and manufacturing documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Collaborate with Quality to establish inspection points, CAPAs, and process controls.
  • Audit processes and equipment to ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO 9001).
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in electronics or PCBA.
  • Experience supporting production and working cross-functionally with engineering and quality teams.
  • Strong understanding of electronics, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process improvement tools.
  • Background in quality systems and root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Familiarity with production processes such as soldering, assembly, or related equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
