Job description

1. Perform in vehicle driving assessment and coaching

2. Complete documents in a timely manner

3. Assist in other Fire N Ice Driving Academy programs as needed

4. Pick up and drop off students from designated locations

5. Maintain the cleanliness of Fire N Ice Driving Academy vehicles and equipment. Ensure vehicle in use in fueled, windshield is clean, interior of vehicle is clean, wash car when needed, etc.

Requirements

1. You must be 25 years of age or older

2. Minimum 5 years driving experience

3. Driving Instructor experience preferred, not necessary we will train

4. Canadian Citizen or Landed Immigrant

5. Willing to work split shifts and weekends

6. Must be able to communicate in English, other languages are welcome.

7. If the applicant is successful and moves to the next steps, the applicant must be prepared to go through the Province of Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridor application process for approval, unless the applicant is already a licenced Class 5 driving instructor, then the applicant will continue to the next stage.

8. Agree to undergo on going training as needed

9. Must be punctual

New Applicants that do not poses a Province of Alberta Class 5 Instructor Licence.

Requirements and Process:

Fire N Ice Driving Academy Inc. is prepared to do the following;

1. We will provide new applicants with reading material that will assist with the exam.

2. We will cover the cost of out of pocket expenses required to submit the application.

3. We will assist with studying and reviewing materials.

Please note: this process can take 6 to 8 weeks to complete depending on the success of each applicant at each stage of the process.

Hiring New Applicants:

Fire N Ice Driving Academy Inc. will guarantee employment to any new applicant willing to go through the hiring process. The applicant must pass all the Province of Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridor requirements before the applicant will be given a contract from Fire N Ice Driving Academy Inc. which outlines the terms and conditions of employment.
