Local CDL A Driver – Reading, PA | $23–$26/hr | 30–60 Day Assignment

Looking for a great short-term driving opportunity? We are hiring a Local CDL A Driver for a 30–60 day assignment in Reading, PA, with the potential for the assignment to be extended based on business needs.

This position offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, competitive pay, and overtime opportunities.

Pay
  • $23.00–$26.00 per hour
  • Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours
Assignment Details
  • 30–60 day assignment
  • Potential for extension based on business needs and performance
What You'll Do
  • Drive a manual transmission CDL A curtain-side truck
  • Complete approximately 6–7 local deliveries per day
  • Deliver lumber, plywood, hardware, and building materials
  • Assist with unloading smaller items at delivery locations
  • Help load trucks when needed (forklift experience is a plus)
  • Safely handle materials weighing up to 75 lbs
Schedule
  • Monday–Friday
  • Start time: 6:00–7:00 AM
  • End time: 3:00–5:00 PM
  • Home daily
Requirements
  • 3–5 years of CDL A driving experience
  • Manual transmission experience (no automatic restriction)
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Clean MVR and PSP
  • Ability to pass a road test
  • Forklift experience preferred
