Kolk Farms Ltd. is actively seeking a qualified Feed Truck Operator to join our team!

Location: Iron Springs

Key Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):

  • Safely operate feed truck to deliver feed to cattle on schedule and with precision.
  • Safely operate front end loader with precision.
  • Monitor cattle behavior during feeding to ensure proper consumption.
  • Ensure all feed equipment is clean and maintained regularly.
  • Maintain accurate feeding records and report any issues or observations to feeding manager.
  • Understanding of feed ingredients, TMR, feed mills, rollers, conveyors.
  • Other duties as required.


Skills:

  • Ability to follow schedules.
  • Mathematically inclined
  • Ability to read and write in English proficiently.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs +
  • Physically capable to walk and able to climb in and out of feed truck and payloader.
  • Dependable, reliable, and show up early.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Class 5 drivers license (class 3 considered an asset) with clean drivers abstract.


Schedule: 11 days on, 3 days off
