This bonus is typically paid out either as a lump sum or in installments after completing specific employment milestones, such as a certain number of months on the job. Sign-on bonuses are commonly used in the trucking and delivery industries to attract qualified drivers in a competitive job market. The amount and terms of the bonus can vary between employers, so it’s important to read the offer details carefully.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a driver, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Driver, you need a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems, electronic logging devices (ELDs), and sometimes a commercial driver's license (CDL) are typically required.
