J and J commercial Services of Tyler and Longview, TX is looking for a driven and experienced Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Operations Manager to lead our growing team in East Texas. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of day-to-day operations, drive performance, and make a real impact in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of commercial HVAC and refrigeration service, installation, and maintenance teams
  • Manage scheduling, dispatching, and workflow coordination to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
  • Monitor job performance, quality control, and customer satisfaction across all commercial accounts
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate HVAC/refrigeration technicians and support staff
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, labor costs, and operational expenses
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, vendors, and contractors
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, codes, and industry standards
  • Identify opportunities for business growth, process improvements, and service expansion
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC and/or refrigeration, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, and industry best practices
  • EPA 608 Certification required; additional certifications (NATE, CMHE) a plus
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of skilled technicians
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with service management software and scheduling platforms preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to manage budgets and drive profitability
