Please join our Front Office team as a Valet. The Valet attendant is responsible for creating a positive first and last impression for guests arriving and departing from the hotel. Their primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently relocate guest automobiles to designated parking locations and assist guests loading & unloading their luggage.

What is expected of me in this role? 

• Greet guests with professionalism and courtesy upon their arrival. 

• Receive and park guests' vehicles in a safe and organized manner. 

• Retrieve guests' vehicles promptly and accurately upon request. 

• Maintain cleanliness and orders in the valet area as well as keeping the keys safe and organized. 

• Assist guests with information about local attractions and hotel services. 

• Provide information about parking rates, policies, and hotel facilities 

• Stay informed about hotel events, promotions, and guest services. 

• Collect valet parking fees and accurately record transactions. 

• Ensure the security of guests' vehicles and report any concerns promptly. 

• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents. 

• This role involves standing for extended periods and occasional outdoor work. 

• While performing the duties of this job, the colleague is regularly required to sit; stand; bend; walk; use hands or finger; or feel objects, tools or controls; may need to lift boxes (up to 20 lbs)

• Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, are based on the hotel's operational needs. 

Skills and Qualifications 

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality management is a plus. 

• Proven experience as a valet attendant or in a similar role 

• Valid Ontario driver's license and clean driving record/abstract.

• Proficient in using valet management software and basic computer applications.
