Do you love driving a truck but hate spending many nights away from home? Do you have experience in roll-offs, end-dumps, walking floors, landolls, or lowboys? If so, as long as you live within a reasonable commute of our terminal in Gilroy, we want to talk to you. You might flourish in one of our open positions for a local Truck Driver. We are looking for safe, courteous drivers who value a predictable schedule. Our company makes safety our number one priority, which is reflected in our impeccable safety record. We maintain our entire fleet with dedicated precision, and we don't employ owner-operators, so we retain control over our vehicles. We pay weekly and offer great benefits.

Responsibilities of Truck Driver:

  • Safety is Job #1
  • Complete a daily truck log and submit reports of mileage covered at EOD
  • Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible.
  • Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules.
  • Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle at the beginning and end of the shift and report any problems or damage to management.
  • Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public.
  • Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business.
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • We are a smoke-free workplace, and no smoking, vaping, or chewing is allowed at our facilities, on our equipment, or in our trucks.
  • Sometimes our drivers are required to go out of town to drive a bus, truck, or other piece of equipment back, which would require an overnight stay or two at a hotel provided by the company.
  • Our drivers are required to train on multiple types of trucks and trailers such as roll-off, walking floors, end dumps, landolls, lowboys, flatbeds, dry vans, etc.
  • Tarping, tying down, walking loads, climbing up and down trailers, and inspecting loads.
  • Checking and filling out all paperwork thoroughly.
  • Taking pictures of loads as required.
  • Taking care of assigned trucks and trailers by keeping them clean at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.
