Company Description
The Center for Pediatric Therapies (CPT) is a full service rehabilitation clinic serving children from birth through age 21 in Southside Virginia. CPT offers a multidisciplinary approach to treat a variety of neurological, orthopedic, and developmental disorders. Our services are delivered in the most appropriate environment for the child, whether that is in the home, daycare, school, or one of our kid-friendly outpatient clinics in Danville, Lynchburg, South Boston or Martinsville, Virginia.
Job Description
The Pediatric Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation treatment of referred patients that require rehabilitation services which includes; providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation. As well, the Physical Therapist Assistant must document and record the patient's condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate therapy methods. The PT collaborates with a multidisciplinary team including OTs, SLPs, and teachers.
Qualifications
  • Must have graduated from an accredited school
  • Current Virginia license as a Physical Therapist or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience in pediatric physical therapy (preferred, not required)
