As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Springfield, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Guided by teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture, you will support daily operations in a reliable and professional role.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and help to verify entry and exit activity for authorized personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols.
  • Support day-to-day operations by preparing reports, reporting maintenance or hazard concerns, and following post orders related to weather events, outages, and/or other site disruptions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
