Program ย ย Description:

We ย ย are looking for a Transportation Specialist-Driver to provide ย ย secure timely driving to the Fulton County Clubhouse. ย ย Transportation service is inclusive to pick up from school, to drop off ย ย to their residences in the evening, this also includes non-traditional ย ย establishments that benefit in building the peer's recovery capital: job ย ย interviews, library, meetings, recovery events, program group outings, IOP / ย ย OP treatment appointments, etc. ย As ย ย a Transportation Specialist-Driver in this position, you will transport youth ย ย and staff to their designated locations using the Clubhouse Van. Performs ย ย general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving ย ย materials. Assists a variety of functions with manual labor tasks ย ย as needed. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform ย ย the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. ย 


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport youth and staff to and from schools, homes, program sites, and approved community locations.ย 
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of youth passengers at all times during transport.ย 
  • Follow all state and organizational driving policies, safety procedures, and traffic regulations.ย 
  • Maintain a consistent transportation schedule and communicate delays or issues promptly to supervisors.ย 
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the Clubhouse van is in safe operating condition.ย 
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle. ย ย ย ย ย ย ย 
  • Assist youth with entering and exiting the vehicle safely.ย 
  • Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and model respectful behavior while interacting with youth.ย 
  • Complete transportation logs and required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.ย 
  • Communicate effectively with program staff regarding transportation schedules, route changes, and youth attendance.ย 
  • Support staff during group outings or special events as needed.ย 

Qualifications:

  • Must ย ย be at least 21 years old
  • Valid ย ย Georgia driver's license with a clean driving record.ย 
  • Ability to pass a ย ย background check and any required driving record screening.ย 
  • Working ย ย with youth or in youth-serving environments preferred.ย 
  • Ability to maintain ย ย professionalism and positive interactions with youth, families, and staff.ย 
  • Knowledge of basic ย ย vehicle safety and inspection procedures.ย 
  • Strong communication ย ย and reliability skills.ย 
  • Ability to follow ย ย instructions and established safety guidelines.ย 
  • Ability to lift, ย ย move, and transport materials when needed.ย
