Effective time management, regular route planning, and staying updated on traffic conditions can help mitigate delays. Employers frequently provide training on safety protocols and encourage open communication with dispatchers to address issues as they arise. Maintaining a healthy work-life balance and utilizing company resources, like rest breaks and wellness programs, can also support drivers in managing these challenges.

The pay for a driver varies based on location, experience, and the type of driving job. On average, drivers earn between $12 and $25 per hour, with some positions offering a salary or commission. Employers may also provide benefits and bonuses depending on the role and company policies.
