Job description

We are hiring a Class 8 Diesel Truck Mechanic- Chemical Manufacturing for our Sacramento, California, plant. $33-$48 an hour
Duties include but are not limited to:
  • P.M. inspections
  • Monthly trailer inspections
  • Minor to medium repairs on tractors and trailers
  • Tracking and ordering parts
  • Inventory / Detail oriented
  • Basic computer duties
  • Be available for call outs
  • Tire replacement
  • Brake replacement
  • troubleshoot & repair wiring issues
  • Basic fleet maintenance
    Required Qualifications
  • Two + years of maintenance experience.
  • Working knowledge of liquid bulk tankers (Internal & External Valves, etc.)
  • Tanker experience is a plus, but not necessary.
  • A CDL with TX Endorsements is preferred, but not necessary.
  • Must be able to Speak, Read & Write English proficiently
  • Basic computer skills
  • The ability to lift 50 to 75 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • The ability to pass a background check, pre-employment drug screen, and physical.
