What are 'Driver Clase A'?

A 'Driver Clase A' is a professional driver licensed to operate heavy vehicles, such as tractor-trailers, semi-trucks, and other large commercial vehicles. This classification is commonly used in countries like Mexico, where a Class A license ('Licencia Clase A') authorizes the holder to drive vehicles that transport goods or passengers over long distances. Drivers in this category must meet specific legal requirements, including training, exams, and often medical evaluations. Their responsibilities include ensuring the safe transport of cargo, complying with road regulations, and maintaining their vehicles in good condition.
