Job Title: Driver Check-in Clerk FLSA/Grade: Non-Exempt/Hourly

Reports to: Inventory Control Manager Department: Finance



Position Summary:

The Driver Check-in Clerk is responsible for the checking of products and trucks upon the drivers return at the end of the day by performing the following duties.

The position of Driver Check-in Clerk is not exempt from the overtime provisions of the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act and shall be entitled to overtime compensation for hours worked more than 40 in any one work week.

The Driver Check-in Clerk shall be accountable and supervised by the Inventory Control Supervisor.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Visually inspects boxes for damage or improper stacking.
  • Reviews credits written up for accuracy by reviewing descriptions, item numbers, quantity, and vendor numbers.
  • Receiving and completion of all backhauls.
  • Audits orders for accuracy.
  • Operates basic warehouse vehicles (pallet jacks and/or forklifts, etc.).
  • Communicates daily on all returned orders.
  • Performs all duties following safety guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
