What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, visitor management practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor front desk access, greet and screen visitors, verify identification and appointments as required, and issue visitor credentials in accordance with facility procedures.
  • Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to designated facility personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and disruptive activity through a professional front desk presence and consistent application of facility policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
