Job description

Non-CDL Box Truck Driver

Latorre Trucking and Logistics LLC is seeking a dependable Non-CDL Box Truck Driver to operate a 26-ft straight truck. We provide local, regional, and over-the-road freight services from the Raleigh, NC area.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a 26-ft box truck.
  • Complete pickups and deliveries on schedule.
  • Use a liftgate, pallet jack, straps, and load bars.
  • Assist with loading and unloading when required.
  • Inspect the truck before and after each trip.
  • Maintain accurate logs, BOLs, delivery photos, and paperwork.
  • Communicate professionally with dispatchers, brokers, and customers.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Valid DOT medical card.
  • Clean and acceptable driving record.
  • Box-truck or commercial driving experience preferred.
  • Able to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Able to lift and move freight when driver assist is required.
  • Comfortable with local, regional, overnight, and occasional OTR routes.
