Rotating shifts:

  • Availability required Monday through Sunday
  • Two days off per week: one weekday and one weekend day

DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Driver Assistant to provide operational support to drivers responsible for transporting biological samples, medical kits, and other materials related to the pharmaceutical and clinical trial industries.
The Driver Assistant will support daily pickup and delivery operations, helping ensure shipments arrive on time, in proper condition, and in compliance with applicable regulatory, safety, confidentiality, and cold-chain requirements.
This position requires flexibility to work rotating schedules and the ability to perform duties in various operational environments, including airports, warehouses, and cargo areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support drivers with daily pickup and delivery operations.
  • Prepare shipping documentation, labels, boxes, and other required materials.
  • Assist with airport operations, including cargo pickups and deliveries.
  • Support the handling of temperature-controlled shipments, including shipments requiring dry ice and gel packs.
  • Load, unload, lift, and move packages, including packages weighing more than 50 pounds.
  • Maintain accurate operational records and shipment documentation.
  • Help ensure materials are handled appropriately throughout the transportation process.
  • Follow established safety and confidentiality procedures.
  • Comply with applicable regulations and operational requirements related to the handling and transportation of materials.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift and move packages weighing more than 50 pounds.
  • Availability to work rotating shifts.
  • Availability to work Monday through Sunday, with two days off per week.
  • Ability to work in airports, warehouses, and cargo areas.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Dependable and responsible approach to assigned duties.
  • Ability to work in an operational environment where timely delivery and proper shipment handling are essential.
