What is a drive-in movie theater?

Drive-in movie theaters are outdoor cinemas where patrons watch films from the comfort of their own vehicles. Customers park their cars facing a large screen, and audio is typically broadcast through FM radio or mounted speakers. Drive-ins became popular in the mid-20th century and offer a nostalgic, family-friendly movie experience. Many drive-ins also feature concession stands and themed events, making them a unique alternative to traditional indoor cinemas.
