Role Overview:
The Rig Inside Sales Representative is a vital member of the sales team, responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by effectively promoting and selling rig equipment and services to customers. This role involves establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships, understanding customer needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs. The Rig Inside Sales Representative will work closely with the sales team and management to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Facilitates the sales process through project management, tracking open sales orders, issue resolution, and overall customer service and support.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through regular communication and exceptional service.
  • Prospects for new sales opportunities via outbound calling and emailing.
  • Provides product pricing and understands the current market demands.
  • Ensures timely shipment or delivery of materials and customer satisfaction by collaborating with operations and logistics.
  • Contributes to add-on sales by maintaining a high level of product knowledge.
  • Handles customer inquiries and problem resolution when needed.
  • Performs estimating, take-off, and proposal duties as necessary.
  • All other duties assigned by management.

Requirements:
  • Personal integrity, customer service, sales, and communications ability to provide top-notch service while increasing sales metrics.
  • 1-3 years of inside sales experience in the same or similar industry preferred.
  • 2 or more years of customer service or sales experience in a related industry is preferred.
  • Prior drilling rig experience and product knowledge are required.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple quotes simultaneously.
  • High School Diploma or College Degree preferred.
  • Intermediate level MS Office Suite and distribution-specific ERP systems skills.
  • Ability to pass a background check, MVR check, and drug test where required.
