Job description

In the oilfield, a Loader Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment, such as front-end loaders, to move, load, and position materials, equipment, and supplies on-site. This role is critical for supporting drilling, rig moving, and general site operations.

Qualifications
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Must be able to pass a drug test
  • Decent MVR Report per insurance guidelines
  • 2year oilfield experience
  • Able to work on an oncall schedule, weekends, nighst and holidays
  • Must be willing to work away from home when required
  • Willingness to work in a team environment
    • Responsibilities
  • Primary operation of a Loader with the possibility of various other pieces of heavy equipment.
  • Safely operate the loader and other heavy machinery to move and transport materials like pipes.
  • Perform daily equipment inspection and JSA.
  • Maintain clear and safe pathways for vehicles and crews.
  • Perform basic maintenance, such as greasing, refueling, and cleaning the loader.
  • Notify the Loader Supervisor of any mechanical issues that require repair.
  • Report and equipment issues to maintenance personnel and perform minor repairs.
  • Safely load and unload materials from trucks and other equipment, ensuring loads are secure.
  • Comply with all company, customer, and industry policies and procedures, including safety polices.
  • Primary operation of a Loader with the possibility of various other pieces of heavy equipment.
  • Keep the work area and equipment clean and organized.
  • Other duties as assigned.
