The Warehouse Supervisor oversees the distribution of Swisher products. This is achieved by managing a team of order pickers who fulfill customer orders and prepare them for shipment. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise receiving products including scanning, documentation, and proper storage
  • Review daily orders and organize the proper sequence for staging and filling of daily shipments
  • Inventory of all products regularly, ensuring stock rotation to help prevent errors that could lead to miss ships
  • Maintain a safe work environment through education and enforcement of policies and procedures
  • Daily completion of the Time and Attendance system
  • Administer negotiated Union contract language fairly and equally with both unions
  • Motivate, develop, and train employees

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of management or supervisory experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and warehouse management software (DSI & NetSuite)
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays
  • Ability to foster enthusiasm for challenges and serve as a role model by promoting safety, innovation, and positive change
  • Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field
