About Us:

NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution is responsible for the licensing and distribution of NBCUniversal product to all forms of television and new media platforms in the U.S., Canada and in over 200 territories internationally. NBCUniversal's content portfolio includes a vast and diverse library of more than 6,500 feature films and 170,000 television episodes, including current and classic titles, non-scripted programming, kids, sports, news, long-form and short-form programming from Universal Pictures, Focus Features, Universal Television, UCP, Universal International Studios, Sky Studios, NBC Late Night properties, DreamWorks Animation, Telemundo, and more, as well as locally produced content from around the world. Global TV Distribution is a division of Comcast NBCUniversal.

Overview:

The Assistant Manager, Global Local Platforms will be responsible for servicing current broadcast and library Features materials to a select group of Subscription Video on Demand, and Ad-Supported Video-On-Demand clients who license products from NBC Universal. This position will be responsible for setting up the delivery in a timely fashion and in accordance with contractual terms.

This individual will report to the Senior Manager, Worldwide Media Servicing.

Responsibilities:

  • Research availability of materials needed to service clients within provided timeline, including time sensitive launches per contractual terms.
  • Investigate and resolve material rejections.
  • Deal with inquiries from clients, responding to all questions and concerns regarding NBCUniversal product within division SLA.ย 
  • Complete status reports and research projects as requested by Sales, Account Management teams and Supervisor.
  • Maintain reports of all products licensed, delivery requirements, and status of servicing across clients.ย  Update purchase order and inventory systems with relevant delivery and invoice information in a timely manner.ย 
  • Interact with Sales, Sales Administration, Legal, Marketing, Publicity, Technical Services and outside Post Production and storage facilities to prioritize asset creation and delivery for the following media: EST, VOD, SVOD, and AVOD.ย 
  • Assist in metadata and art delivery, if needed.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum one year of experience in videotape and/or digital operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (e.g., Outlook, MS Teams, Excel, Word and OneNote)

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience servicing EST/VOD Worldwide Platform Clients, i.e. Google, and Amazon
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel, including Power Queries, Pivot Tables; experience with database systems and advanced Formulas
  • Ability to work effectively under own initiative, prioritize tasks and maintain focus under the pressure of strict deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate clearly and professionally with both internal and external clients/customer
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies, changing priorities, and processing systems
  • Positive work ethic with high degree of integrity and professionalism
  • Foreign Language Skills is a plus
  • Fundamental knowledge of XML is a plus
  • Ability to work long hours as needed

Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
