SUMMARY / OBJECTIVEResponsible for controlling and operating machines and equipment that are used in the manufacturing floor. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSArrange machine at the beginning of production run to ensure that everything is in orderTest the machine before main work begins to be sure that it is in good condition for productionClean machine parts after every production runSet all machine/equipment operation information such as speed, size and shape into machine before line begins to runInsert all production materials in various parts of machine/equipment where they are supposed to be to enhance production outputEnsures that machines are calibrated and recalibrated before and after production runStrictly adhere to client job specification and ensure good quality workUpdate Production Supervisor regularly on production activity and progressAssist with Equipment Set-Up, modifications and machine repairsAssist in troubleshooting production line failures as directed by MechanicHelp in maintaining equipment logs and performing equipment preventive maintenanceReplenish and change labelsBring liquid to filling lines and ensure that the correct size liquid is set up for each filling lineLubricate machinery. Replace/replenish: capping wheels, video jet ink and make-up fluid, tapes and labelsAdjust conveyors.
