We are seeking Brake Press Operators

What is a brake press?

A press brake is a machine pressing tool for bending sheet and plate material, most commonly sheet metal. It forms predetermined bends by clamping the workpiece between a matching punch and die. Typically, two C-frames form the sides of the press brake, connected to a table at the bottom and on a movable beam at the top. The bottom tool is mounted on the table, with the top tool mounted on the upper beam.

In this role, you will

• Operate and set up Press Brake machines
• Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards
• Other duties as assigned

You must be able to:

• Accurately work with calipers, squares, gauges, protractors and other measuring tools
• Have good math ability and problem solving skills
• Read and interpret blueprints efficiently
• Stand continuously and lift objects up to 50#

Midwest Sheet Metal Fabrication Located in Hartford, Wisconsin, our modern sheet metal fabrication facility is designed specifically for rapid production at low cost. We are a short drive from the Madison and Milwaukee, Wisconsin metropolitan areas.
