Brand Ambassador (Part-time) 

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Schedule: Part-time, averaging 10–15 hours per week

This is a part-time position designed for someone looking to work approximately 10–15 hours each week. The schedule is flexible and primarily consists of community outreach, local events, promotional deliveries, and relationship-building activities. Evening and weekend availability is required based on community events and business needs.
About Drake's:

Drake’s is a high-energy restaurant and bar known for great food and over-the-top hospitality in an upbeat environment. We are looking for an outgoing, community-minded Brand Ambassador to represent Drake’s throughout Florence and help strengthen our connection with local businesses, organizations, schools, and community events. 

Position Summary 

The Brand Ambassador serves as the face of Drake’s in the Florence community. This role is responsible for building relationships, increasing brand awareness, and creating positive interactions with current and future guests through community outreach, local events, and strategic deliveries. 

The ideal candidate is energetic, professional, highly organized, and genuinely passionate about Florence and Drake’s. They enjoy meeting new people, making connections, and representing a brand with enthusiasm and authenticity. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Community Engagement & Relationship Building 
  • Represent Drake’s at community events, festivals, fundraisers, networking events, and local gatherings.  

  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, schools, organizations, sports teams, and community leaders.  

  • Identify opportunities for Drake’s to increase community involvement and visibility.  

  • Serve as a positive and professional representative of the Drake’s brand at all times.  

Event Activation 

  • Set up and break down promotional tables, tents, and displays at events.  

  • Engage attendees in conversation about Drake’s offerings, promotions, and events.  

  • Distribute branded marketing materials, promotional items, and giveaways.  

Deliveries & Outreach 

  • Assemble outreach packages that may include food samples, marketing materials, gift cards, promotional items, and branded swag.  

  • Deliver outreach packages to designated local businesses, schools, offices, and organizations.  

  • Maintain accurate records of outreach efforts and relationship-building activities.  

Social Media Content 

  • Capture photos and videos during community events and outreach activities.  

  • Submit content for use on Drake’s social media channels when requested.  

Brand Representation 

  • Maintain an understanding of Drake’s menu, promotions, events, and brand values.  

  • Communicate Drake’s messaging consistently and professionally.  

  • Provide regular updates on community engagement activities and opportunities.  

Qualifications 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.  

  • Previous experience in marketing, promotions, hospitality, customer service, event staffing, or community outreach preferred.  

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.  

  • Comfortable initiating conversations and building relationships with new people.  

  • Organized, dependable, and self-motivated.  

  • Active and engaged within the Cookeville community is strongly preferred.  

  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation is a plus.  

  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.   


Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to stand for extended periods during events.  

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds of promotional materials, food deliveries, and event supplies.  

  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.  

  • Part-time, approximately 10–15 hours per week.  

  • Flexible schedule with availability for evenings, weekends, and community events as needed.
