Job description

SUMMARY: 

The Business Development & External Affairs Intern will collaborate closely with Business Development & External Affairs staff and other KS&E operating groups to support external communications, community outreach, social media initiatives, and day-to-day operations. This role emphasizes strong written communication, social media coordination, administrative support, and community engagement.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. External Affairs & Community Outreach
  1. Coordinate town drop offs, including parking passes, Partners in Patriotism newsletters, noteworthy neighbor tumblers, and checks/applications at town hall.
  1. Communications, Media and Operational Support
  1. Monitor the department’s customer service inbox and assist with professional response drafting.
  2. Assist in monitoring and compiling weekly press clippings and media recap reports for Patriot Place, The Kraft Group, Partners in Patriotism Fund and for each external event held at Gillette Stadium.
  3. Proofread and edit department communications and written materials.
  4. Record, generate, and distribute meeting minutes to attendees.
  1. Social Media & Digital Support
  1. Assist with social media promotions, including creating sweepstakes rules and coordinating prize fulfillment.
  2. Monitor social media trends and provide weekly insights and recaps reports.
  3. Capture and create content for Partners in Patriotism and Gillette Stadium digital channels.
  4. Support social sponsorship and marketing tagging through the Conviva platform.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma
  • Confidentiality and discretion required
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Motivated self-starter with ability to effectively manage time and work on multiple projects
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written
  • Ability to express ideas, opinions, and opportunities for organizational improvement orally and in writing
  • Ability to establish a positive rapport and work well with all levels of the organization and public
  • Customer-service oriented, with a fan-friendly attitude and professional appearance at all times.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint – other software capabilities are a plus
  • Experience managing multiple social media accounts
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as required
  • Experience in photography a plus.
