Job description

Responsibilities
  • Perform engineering calculations and cost estimates.
  • Prepare drawings, layouts, and other engineering drafting.
  • Assist in developing plans and reports.
  • Assist in collecting data and research utility records.
  • Write letters, memoranda, technical reports, and summaries
  • Help in design, production, and miscellaneous organizational work.
  • Complete Civil design drawings using AudoCAD Civil 3D software
  • Travel to job sites
  • Field investigations and documentation under general supervision of Project Manager
  • Construction related services including meeting attendance, shop drawings reviews, responses to RFI, scheduling and coordination with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), scheduling and coordination with job site contractors
Qualifications
  • BS or MS in Civil Engineering
  • Ability to obtain EIT within 6 months
  • 2-4 years of industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of Civil 3D software and design programs/tools
  • Strong knowledge Bluebeam software and design programs/tools
